Harumanis Ice Cream: A Cool and Creamy Dessert That Never Goes Out of Style

Using Harumanis to make an ice cream might be way too much for some as it is expensive. However, I have tried to experiment on it and the ice cream is timeless, we enjoyed it so much. It's a classic treat that can be enjoyed on its own or used as a base for a variety of desserts, such as ice cream sundaes, milkshakes, and ice cream cakes. Whether you're a fan of classic flavours like vanilla and chocolate or prefer more unique and exotic flavours, Harumanis ice cream is a dessert that's sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Ingredients:
- 1 pcs of small sized Harumanis 
- 2 cups of heavy cream 
- 1 cup of whole milk 
- 3/4 cup of granulated sugar 
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract 
- Pinch of salt 
Instructions:
- In a medium saucepan, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. 
- Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture is hot, but not boiling. 
- Remove the mixture from the heat and let it cool to room temperature. 
- Cover the mixture and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight. 
- While the mixture is cooling, prepare the Harumanis fruit by peeling and dicing it into small pieces. 
- Once the mixture is chilled, pour it into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions. 
- Transfer the ice cream to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 2 hours, or until firm. 
- Scoop the ice cream into bowls or cones and enjoy!
